Microshading gives a more defined, solid appearance, and is usually a longer-lasting option, whereas microblading [hair strokes], involves cosmetic tattooing with tiny lines/strokes in a design which gives the appearance of hair/s.
Hair strokes alone, with no background, will require re-touching more frequently than microshading.
A good, longer lasting option can be a combination of both types of micro-pigmentation - microshading & microblading. At Alchemy Cosmetica, we usually allow between 90 - 120 minutes for each micropigmentation treatment. Often, for your eyebrows, the longest part of the appointment can be the consultation element and drawing on the brow shape to achieve what the client wants. We try to spend as much time as we need getting them as perfect as possible to what the client is wanting to achieve.
The actual tattooing part usually takes around 45 - 60 minutes.
